It’s a system of checks and balances. As we grow and try to do different things to be more profitable with our projects, we can go back and check our work. Before, there were no checks and balances with our old system. But now, everything is digital, so there’s a digital trail that we can track to help us learn and improve. At least two drivers have become more cautious now there are dash cams in their vehicles. The camera talks to them and tells them ‘hard breaking’ or ‘excessive acceleration.’ I’ve watched footage of the guys when the camera talks to them and you can see them cut their eyes toward the camera and give it a smirk. We have a CDL driver who was always pretty cautious anyway, but the cameras have made him even more aware of what’s going on and safer in general.
