T3® Installation Services Rates and Policies

Last Updated: August 18, 2025

These T3® Installation Services Rates and Policies (“Policies”) set forth supplemental terms and conditions applicable to the installation, repair, or replacement of EquipmentShare telematics devices.  These Policies are governed by and part of the T3Æ Platform Subscription Terms Of Service (“TOS”) available at [Insert URL], as such TOS may be updated by Equipment Share from time to time.  Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Policies have the meaning ascribed to them in the TOS.

PLEASE READ THESE POLICIES AND THE TOS CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING OUR INSTALLATION SERVICES.  BY ORDERING OR RECEIVING THE INSTALLATION SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND, AND YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE POLICIES AND THE TOS.  YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE ALL NECESSARY RIGHT, POWER, AND AUTHORITY TO AGREE TO THESE POLICIES AND THE TOS ON BEHALF OF YOUR COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION.

  1. Scope of Services:

The scope of Installation Services is as detailed in the corresponding Order, as supplemented by these Policies.

  1. Installation Appointment

An appointment is a scheduled installation or service call encompassing either a single day or consecutive days at a single location (“Installation Appointment”).  If the scheduled installation or service call spans non-consecutive days or is slated for multiple locations, each day or location will constitute a separate Installation Appointment.

  1. Payment Terms:

Standard Rates:

  • Applicability.  All installation services and service calls, other than travel charges, will be billed at an hourly rate of $125 per hour.
  • Travel.  Travel charges are billed at a rate of $75 per hour for round-trip drive time from our installer's home location to the customer's install location and back. Overnight expenses are billed at a rate of $200 per overnight stay. Travel charges will not apply if you bring the asset to our branch location for the Installation Appointment.
  1. T3 as a Service (T3aaS) Installation Bundle Option Rates:
  • Applicability.
    1. Applicable to T3aaS subscription bundle customers only.
    2. T3aaS is a subscription service that covers the installation costs, as an alternative to payment of installation costs upfront.
    3. The T3aaS Install Bundle only applies to initial installation costs and applicable travel charges within scope for the Order.  Out-of-scope work will be billed as otherwise outlined in these Policies and the TOS, including third-party device removals at a cost of $40 per device removal.
  • Minimum Asset Requirement.
  1. To facilitate the provision of Installation Services, a minimum of four assets must be scheduled and available for installation for a single Installation Appointment.
  2. New keypad installations are exempt from the minimum asset requirement.
  3. If minimum asset requirements are not met for any reason, including missing, unavailable, or unsafe assets or conditions, T3aaS Install Bundle pricing shall not apply, and a $75 per unavailable asset fee will be assessed up to the minimum.
  4. Minimum asset requirement does not apply if you bring your Equipment to a branch location for your scheduled appointment.
  1. Delays, Cancellation, and No-Show Fees:
  • Installation Services not scheduled within 60 days from the date of delivery of the corresponding telematics device, other than as a result of our unavailability to provide the Installation Services, will automatically be subject to billing, regardless of installation status.  This includes any decision by you to attempt to self-install devices after placing an order for our Installation Services.
  • If a scheduled appointment is canceled by you within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, or if Installation Services are unable to be completed on 50% or more of scheduled assets due to missing or unavailable assets or hardware unavailability, no-show/cancellation fees will be billed as shown below for each unavailable asset that was scheduled.
  • Cancellation / No-Show Fee: $75 per unavailable asset.
  1. Additional Charges:
  • Unanticipated Charges.  Unanticipated additional travel, changes in the scope of work, site access training requirements,  unique or unsafe site or weather conditions, and other events or circumstances resulting in prolonged or delayed provision of Installation Services may result in additional charges. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to call or email you to alert you to these situations.
  • Wait Time.  If the provision of Installation Services is prolonged or delayed more than one (1) hour, we may, in our sole discretion, remove installers from the site, bill applicable no-show or cancellation charges, or charge the applicable hourly rate of $125 per hour for the full length of the delay.
  • Installer Troubleshooting and Repair Services.  Such services including deinstallation, reinstallation, remounting, and all non-warranty work are subject to the hourly rates and other charges described herein, as well as parts and shipping costs.  This includes all work arising from your decision to self-install telematics devices.

  1. Our Responsibilities:
  1. Provide all necessary tools and labor for the installation of T3 devices.
  2. Select suitable harnesses for T3 device installations.  Our focus is on minimizing invasiveness during connections to optimize data reporting capabilities for your assets.  However, achieving advanced data capabilities (i.e., Engine Data, Fuel Data, etc.) may not always be possible due to various factors, including differences in OEM configurations, makes, models and years.
  1. Your Responsibilities:
  1. To schedule an appointment, you must provide an asset list that includes the year, make, model, and serial number of each asset requiring Installation Services.  This asset list is necessary to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.
  2. Before we dispatch an installer, you are required to undergo a remote troubleshooting session with our customer support team for all service calls.
  3. Purchase and receive devices and harnesses necessary for installation and provide access to the assets where the devices are to be installed at the time of the Installation Appointment.
  4. Ensure that your assets and site are in proper condition for the installation. If a vehicle or other asset is determined by an installer to be in a state of disrepair or poor condition, where proceeding with the Installation Services may pose a risk of further damage to the asset or potential harm to the installer, the asset will be deemed unavailable and unsuitable for provision of Installation Services.
  5. Cooperate with us to facilitate the performance of the Installation Services.
  1. Warranties:
  1. Installation Services Warranty: Installation services are warranted from defects in workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of the Installation Appointment, subject to and as further provided in the TOS.
  2. T3 Device Warranty: The warranties for the T3 devices, if any, are exclusively provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, as further provided in the TOS.
  1. Third-Party Installation:
  1. We may, in our sole discretion, utilize a third-party service provider to complete the Installation Services. Any such work will be billed by us and remains subject to these Policies and the TOS.
